BIRTHDAY SESSION WITH Z!

This little man is... well, gorgeous, hilarious, and so much fun! He loves trains, and he really enjoyed the session up at the Heber Valley Railroad. He's almost 3, and he's absolutely 100% the joy of his parents' lives. I mean, look at him! He's awesome! :)

A few pictures of Shady Chapel...

My brother in law, Derek, is the bass player in a really cool band, called Shady Chapel.

Last night, they played a free show at the Art City Coffee in Springville, Utah. They went on at 8PM, which is MUCH earlier than their usual show times, and so I took the boys and my handy-dandy camera to the show. It was so fun. I have never photographed a band before, so I wanted a little practice. The venue wasn't exactly photog-friendly, but they sounded amazing, and it was fun to play paparazzi to a local band. We all had a really good time.

The Tanner Building

I took these photographs right before the Shorten Family arrived for their session. The Tanner Building looks like a plain old lame building from outside, (In my opinion) but when you step inside, there are amazing lines. I couldn't stop snapping pictures of the inside looking up at that amazing glass ceiling.

My husband says they look like they could be the cover of his math book. Who knew MATH could be so ARTISTIC?!
