Elise and Alexa

These two are gorgeous! They are sisters, and three years apart. They were so funny during the shoot, and I had a blast getting to know these two a little better. Their mom is an angel as well, and I just can't say enough nice things about them. They are an awesome family, and these only reflect half of that family. More will be coming soon... Tutu session with Aurora

This little one is my son's age, and she is so funny! She knows what she wants to do, and so I spent the session chasing her around and snapping pictures. She ran and ran, and had a lot of fun doing that! I had so much fun during this shoot, because Aurora and her Mommy are two awesome people! Isn't Aurora darling? I love that hair!

Music

Have you ever heard that Music feeds the soul? I believe that somewhat. So, in order to invite you in to my soul somewhat, I have included a new playlist on the sidebar. Now you can hear what is going on in my head while I'm taking pictures.

There are too many songs to actually put on to a playlist, and if I did, it would probably be confusing... There are too many different styles of music and not all of them flow with the rest, so I've only added songs that I love that would also be as pleasant as possible to the masses. You know, some people don't like hip hop, or R&B, or Country, or Grunge, or hard rock, or Skynyrd. Anyway, so you have the part of myself that listens to Jack Johnson, the Clarity album, A Fine Frenzy, Ingrid, and other light things that are, in my opinion equally as lovely as Nirvana, Pearl Jam, or Black Eyed Peas, but remain in their own beautiful way, different.

I hope you like the addition to my site. I do.

Mykah - 6 months old!

Well, let me tell you that one of my favorite aspects of my "job" is meeting new people. Kandice, (Mykah's mommy) contacted me weeks ago to schedule a session for her little girl. We have been emailing back and forth for a while, and then I finally got to meet the two of them. Kandice was so sweet and easy going, and Mykah... Well, that little one has some personality! She knows exactly what she wants already! She was so tiny, and so sweet, I could hardly stand it! I had so much fun during our session today! It was truly a bright spot in my afternoon!

The Bunnell Family

Well, last weekend I had the opportunity to meet a wonderful little family... two actually. Katie and Mick have three beautiful children, and Katie's brother Josh has two beautiful girls. Not only was I doing family photos, but I also got to take some pictures of little Noa for her first birthday. This shoot marks a few firsts for me. This was the first time I had to hike in to a place for a shoot, as well as the first time I had to stand in freezing cold water in bare feet- I forgot my brand new rain boots! We were also cut a little short by some other hikers, but I think we got some really nice shots with the limited amount of time we had.
